Soomee Kim : Something Very Special...two workshops covering 3 days where you will learn new technique and develop your design skills, make a scarf during the first workshop using Soomee's intrinsically developed methods, then move on to complete a fashionably stylish felt vest during the Saturday and Sunday sessions. Do either workshop or book for both workshops and receive a discount, $340.00 plus materials.

Saturday Sunday November 20th & 21st. - Fee $265.00 plus materials Code SMK02 Felt Vest. Work with Soomee, achieve a level of feltmaking you are only dreaming of today! Soomee has turtored many beginners but she asks that all people in this masterclass have good basic felting skills. Limited to 12 people with two assistants, you will have the attention you require to get the vest completed during the workshop. Late closing for this workshop - 6pm on Saturday - will give you extra time to make the most of this experience.

Workshop description:

Learn how to laminate and embed prefelt and fabrics to make 2 sided felt. This encompasses embedding with nuno technique and careful control in design approaches. Soomee has mastered feltmaking and her work is in great demand both in Australia and Seoul where she has had sell out exhibitions in recent years. Soomee produces fine quality long lasting felt that is elegantly designed.
