Silk painting

Colleen is a highly accomplished textile artist, a member of the world Shibori network. Her reputation is that she is a teacher held in high regard for her skills of communication and imparting knowledge. We are very happy Colleen has agreed to teach at Beautiful Silks. She brings many years of textile painting knowledge to share.

You will be taught:

How to apply Gutta to make lines on silk, how to paint silk, how to fix the dyes into silk, some design input from Colleen will also be on offer.

Habutai silk, 1 mtr

2 silk painting brushes

Gutta, nib and plastic dispense bottle.
