Workshop Cancellation Policy

Workshops are booked on a first come first served basis.

Once the booking has been made, if you wish to withdraw from the workshop, however compelling the reason, we ask that you replace yourself as we do not refund on less than 12 weeks prior to the workshop.

Any cancellation after paying your $50 deposit and pre paying the workshop fee is non refundable. Your workshop fee balance is due no later than 10 weeks pre workshop, we will send your invoice via mail or email a pdf 12 weeks pre workshop, this must be paid 10 weeks pre workshop, or you risk losing your workshop place.

The reason we still charge you the deposit of $50 as an admin fee, is due to the staff time it takes to make these types of arrangments & the time it take to make refunds. If for example, we have 8 people on the wait list, each person must be contacted one by one, make a decision and get back to us, it is very time consuming. Plus email lists, invoices, new information needs to be provided, meaning cancellations create a lot of time consuming work for us.

In any of these cases, if you can simply replace yourself and work out your own arrangements, we will make no charge for changing the name of the attendee. If you do this, please advise who is coming, and make sure you forward all workshop information to them, or ask them to send us an email whereby we can simply send them all workshop information direct. We do not refund and recharge in this instance, you must make your own arrangment with your replacement.

Finally, it is not possible to offer professional workshops without the certainty that fees are stable and available to pay the workshop tutor. Often we will not be able to replace a workshop seat within a short time as people who may otherwise have attended and paid for that place have been unable to book because you have taken the place. We apologise if you are unable to receive a refund, we understand sometimes very difficult circumstances can arise, however we hope you understand how we arrive at our policy. Please make sure, before you book, that you can follow through and attend the workshop if at all possible.

In the case that WE cancel the workshop, we will refund all monies owing to you within 3 days. In the instance where we cancel we will do so 5 weeks pre workshop.
